Our Senior Saints enjoy special outings together thanks to our friends CJ and Bonnie Nicely. CJ and Bonnie always plan something interesting and fun for all to enjoy. We attend plays and do some "sightseeing" as well as finding a cozy restaurant to have a nice meal on the way!
It is just so nice to be able to fellowship together with Christian friends who have been so faithful in service to others most of their lives in addition to raising their families, working and finally retiring to enjoy "golden years". Although most of our Senior Saints are still very active helping with all kinds of church and community events, it is always fun to "take a break" and enjoy a little time together!
If you would like to know more about Senior Saints activities at Lone Star, come meet our group and soon you may want to join us.

The New Youth Activity schedule for Spring is now available. There are activites for Junior Youth 4 to 11 years old and Teens from 12 to 18.
"Community Dinners" are held the first Wednesday of each month. Bring a "pot luck" dish and join the fellowship. Invite a friend.
Pick up a schedule at the church this week or call the church office for more information.
Events are planned to involve the whole family and the entire church!
Plan to be involved. You may receive a blessing or you may BE a blessing to someone.

The Traditional Service at 11 a.m. is called to Worship with musical interlude, followed by the Adult Choir leading us with traditional hymns, then the opening prayer and announcements of coming events are made.
Children's Church is led by Joleen Feazell who holds everyone's attention as she brings simple bible truths to life with testimonies and object lessons. Children and adults alike look forward to and enjoy this part of the service.
After the offering, we have special music by the choir or guest soloists.
Pastor Doug brings the morning message and scripture.
We close with a hymn of invitation and prayer.
Our choir directors are Josie Denius and Dale Muterspaugh. Our church pianist is Christy Craft.
If you are looking for a reverent and meaningful worship experience, please attend our traditional service at Lone Star. We observe communion the first Sunday of each month. You are welcome to come.

8:45 a.m. CONTEMPORARY PRAISE & WORSHIP SERVICE
Pastor Doug and wife, Cindy, invite you to join them for a Contemporary Service each Sunday morning.
Arrive in time to experience the Praise Team leading everyone in singing praises to the Lord, followed by the morning message. Then join together downstairs for hot coffee and pastries, etc. This is a special time for fellowship before Sunday School begins at 10 a.m.
