Lone Star Advent Christian Church is located six miles east of Clifton Forge, Virginia. We are located off Route 42, on state route 635, known as Nicelytown Road.

We at Lone Star Advent Christian Church celebrated our 100th Anniversary in 2010.

On August 23, 1910, Reverend James W. Gardner and Reverend S. A. Mundy, assisted by Mr. L. F. Hendrix formally organized the Lone Star Advent Christian Church. Twenty-seven men and women became charter members of the new church.

A genealogical history of the descendants of these charter members has been compiled by Charlie Wood. There are many 5th and 6th generation family members attending Lone Star at this time.

Pastor Doug Moore has served at Lone Star for the past 32 years, since arriving here October, 1979. 

We have enjoyed looking back at the history of Lone Star, remembering those who have been so faithful in showing their love for our Lord and Savior and dedicated to spreading the word that Christ will surely come again. This a special place to worship.

We are mindful of the purpose of the church which is to reach out to those who have not heard about Jesus. We offer the hand of fellowship to all who are seeking the Truth. We welcome and encourage those who want a closer personal relationship with Him.
