At Lone star, there are many opportunities to minister, and to be ministered to. Here's a list of some of the different ministries of the church.
Children's Church - Sundays @ 11:00 Service
Children's church (grades K-3) takes place during the message in our 11:00 Worship Service. This time is a time
of learning and growing for the children of our church, so that they
may have a time on Sundays geared at their needs. For more information
on Children's Church, contact our Youth Pastor, Matt Larkin.
Kitchen Ministry
Our
kitchen ministry serves God in many ways. They provide the church with
tremendous meals, and refreshments at different church functions. They
offer receptions for funerals, and they also, once a month, cook and
deliver meals to shut-ins, and those in need of a meal. This ministry
serves as a tremendous part of the outreach of Lone Star! For more
information on our kitchen ministries, contact Kay Curtis or Lana Harlow.
Lone Star Choir - Rehearsals, Sundays & Wednesdays after evening programming
Our choir, helps to lead us in song in our 11:00 Traditional Worship Service. They
lead us in many traditional hymns, as well as a few new songs as well.
They also lead our Christmas and Easter Cantatas. For more information
on our choir, contact Josie Denius or Dale Muterspaugh.

Praise & Worship Team
Our praise & worship team provides us with music for our 8:45 Contemporary Worship Service. They
lead us in praise with many instruments. They lead us in songs of a
more contemporary nature, but in many different styles and genre's. For
more information on our praise team, contact Cindy Moore.
Prayer Meeting - Wednesdays @ 7:00pm
Join
us for a time of prayer and praise to the Lord. Wednesday evenings, we
spend a few minutes singing praise, some time in Bible study and a time
of prayer. We spend time in prayer of intercession, of praise and
exaltation, of thanksgiving, and time just spent waiting on the Lord.
For more information, contact our Pastor, Doug Moore.
